The first and most raw in a series of 3 solo piano albums of Matt Messina. His first released album, recorded in Fairhaven studios of Bellingham, WA, USA. Engineered by Ryan Parker and recorded under the guise of Painted Sun, a local rock group with whom Matt was playing drums. Traditionally, Matt's recordings have been somewhat improvisational and his loose recording style has marked his music with favor, and this album is the definitive of it all.

The album is split between his versions of some classical pieces, as well as his first recorded original compositions. Sapristi Productions will re-release this album on its 10 year anniversary in 2005.
